Head of Visit Lincoln
With 13 years’ experience working across Lincolnshire’s tourism industry, Lydia Rusling has played a central role in many of the county’s most prominent tourism projects.
Between 2012 and 2015 Lydia helped lead the award winning Lincoln Castle Revealed project, and wrote the marketing strategy which formed part of the Heritage Lottery bid.
Her former role at Lincolnshire County Council in Commissioning Investment saw her leading the new place marketing strategy for both the council and Local Enterprise Partnership, which resulted in evolving a new cultural strategy for Lincolnshire and establishing a framework for investment in Greater Lincolnshire.
Lydia was appointed Head of Visit Lincoln in February 2017, a partnership organisation which brings visitors, investment and business into Lincoln City and the surrounding areas.
