Find out from Matt Corrigan, Lincoln BIG what events and activities are taking place this year as the city marks the centenary of the RAF. The city and county are famous for aviation heritage, having played key roles in the First and Second World Wars and still being home to operational RAF stations today. Working with the University of Lincoln and International Bomber Command Centre a new art trail will be launched in April commemorating Lincolnshire’s association with the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force in 2018. A full programme of events will delight residents and visitors alike.
